Dragonflies - The Duncan Peters Files

I had never had the opportunity to read anything by Samantha Fontien before. I am very thankful that I had this opportunity to read this. Although I do NOT like to ugly cry, there were moments that she had me in tears. My emotions ran all over the board. I love that feeling in a book.

In this story you will read of a decades-long friendship between Duncan Peters and Rubin Miller. From meeting to college, to the military, you read it all in here. Those two had me laughing, crying, yelling (which some of my family members thought I was crazy) and but not least, wanting to find out more about them. I cannot wait to read more by Samantha Fontien.

Dragonflies - The Rizzo Protocol

Part 2 of the Dragonflies Trilogy brings us The Rizzo Protocol. Once again, Samantha Fontien has put me on an emotional rollercoaster and made me ride it for a while. It was great to get to know Rizzo, that we first met in part one, The Duncan Peters Files. I see a lot of me in Rizzo. See it and say it like it is, kind of gal. This book has some majorly hot sex scenes, so definitely not for those under 18!! Women of my age will fully enjoy them though. This story, just as part one, is a very well written story. It grabs your attention and keeps it throughout the ups and downs in the story. Great ride.

Dragonflies. - Cousins - The Next Generation

As I have said from the start, I HATE to ugly cry. Samantha Fontien has made me ugly cry in every single novel in this trilogy. I am very sad to see this story come to an end. I have been introduced to several great characters and now I feel like they are moving away and I will never get to see them again. It is not a stand alone novel, so you need to read The Duncan Peters Files and the Rizzo Protocol first.

This story is about Duncan. When we first met him, he was twenty something and had some issues he needed to sort out. We met his friends and acquaintances along the way, to bring him to this point in his life, his 70 something self. I feel like I have grown up with Duncan.

I am looking forward to more works by Samantha Fontien. She definitely has what it takes to grab and keep my attention.
