Tempted by Evil (Light and Shadow Trilogy #1) by Amber Lynn Natusch and Shannon Morton

I really enjoyed this book. When she describes the library it reminds me of my local library. Brought me back to my childhood/teen years of how the library was set up. A part of the book kinda reminded me of the Twilight Series in a way of finding out who Aspen really is. I felt really sad for Aspen and all she had been through. I really felt I was her. When you read Tempted By Evil it puts you so into the book that you can't help but be part of the book and feel the emotions Aspen had gone through. This book was so hard to put down. Actually I couldn't put it down I stayed up all night and read it. Amber Lynn Natusch and Shannon Morton did an excellent job writing this and I can not wait for the other books in the series to be release. I highly recommend this book.

The Lion, the Lamb, the Hunted: A Psychological Thriller by Andrew E. Kaufman

WOW talk about mind blowing. Loved how the whole story was written. I mean going from Adulthood to childhood through out the whole story. Giving an ending that you would never expect at least I didn't. Felt sorry for Patrick Bannister when you see what he whole life was like. Andrew E. Kaufman is an excellent writer. Two other ladies and myself read this story for a book club. We are all very happy with it. We all say the same once you read you can't put it down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PUT ON YOUR TO BE READ LIST!!! I was able to get this book FREE from Amazon and let me tell you I did cause I wasn't sure it was something I would pay for. Well if I had to pay for it I wouldn't be disappointed well worth what ever you would pay for it.

Here (On the Otherside #1) by Denise Grover Swank

From the start I connected with Julia. I felt the pain she was going through with the loss of her friend to the problems with her family afterwards. When she connected with Evan I was like I really can't wait for them to get together and see what their romance is like. Her drawing things like she never did before was really interested. When she met Reese I was waiting for a friendship of a lifetime. They had to escape where I will not say. You need to read the book to find out. I don't like spoilers and for those who have never read it I highly recommend it. Denise Grover Swank is an awesome writer. I get right into her books you feel as if your the one she is writing about. I love reading a book that you connect with their character and any pain or happiness they go through. Put this on your TBR list you will not be disappointed. Then make sure you grab the second book in the series There (On the Otherside #2).

The Death Of Me (A Short Memoir) by Denise Grover Swank

This is a personal memoir of the death of Denise Grover Swank's husband. Denise tells her story about the day her husband's plane crashed and the days after leading up to the passing of Darrell Swank. I cried reading this book and who wouldn't. I want to say it was well written and I felt her pain and everything she went through. My heart goes out to you Denise. Your a very strong woman and the courage to write and share with everyone your story is very amazing. Thank you for sharing such a sad part of your life and I think it will help anyone through such a loss.

Grade A Stupid by A.J. Lape

I love this book. Reminds me of a teenage Stephanie Plum. Fastard one of my new favorite words...Glad that a book two is coming out. Love Darcy and Darcyville. If this had more than 5 star rating this book would be getting more. I do recommend Grade A Stupid. Fastard will become one of your favorite words ;)

After Math By Denise Grover Swank

OMG!!!!! This book is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Denise you had me from the first word till the very end. I can not wait for part two and I hope there is. I felt like I was Scarlett's friend and felt she and Tucker were talking to me. I felt like I was in high school all over again even though they are in college. The pain they both went through growing up and how they both connected to each other is absolutely truly amazing. You never think the "jock" would hook up with the "brains" as I call it. For Scarlett to tutor Tucker and stand by and have faith in him was great. Were everyone else warned her or she heard rumors of what Tucker was like it didn't stop her from tutoring him or falling in love with him. Goes to show you go with your heart and do what you want to do not what other people want you to do or who they want you to be with. She never gave up on him as many times as he tried to turn her away but at the same time they were both miserable without each other. Denise this by far is your best book yet. This is more than just a 5 star book.
